Lindsay Nicholls-Smith
Co-Founder
Lindsay's passion for music and performance began early, developing her skills as a vocalist, songwriter, and performer. She later expanded her expertise by collaborating with other talented musicians. After studying Performing Arts and Media Studies, Lindsay earned a BA (Hons) in Media Practice, gaining hands-on experience in filmmaking, from screenwriting to producing, editing, and music creation. This broad skill set has given her a well-rounded understanding of the media world.
With years of entrepreneurial experience, Lindsay successfully ran her own business before returning to her true passion for music and film. This led to the creation of HP Sync, where she works with a talented team to support artists and filmmakers in synchronising music with media.
Lindsay’s combined background in music, media production, and business gives her a practical understanding of how music functions within film, television, and branded content. At HP Sync, she works closely with artists and creative teams to ensure music is not only creatively strong, but also clearable, well-positioned, and aligned with the needs of each project..
Harrison Perks
Co-Founder
As the co-founder of HP Sync, Harrison is also an award-winning producer, mixing and recording engineer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. With over 1,000 credits to his name, including UK Apple Music Top 10 singles, BBC radio plays, and soundtracks for film and TV, Harrison is one of the most exciting emerging producers in the industry.
As a producer and artist, Harrison is known for delivering high-quality music that translates effectively across film, television, and advertising. His deep understanding of both the creative and technical sides of production, combined with hands-on experience in sync, enables HP Sync to offer music that is not only creatively distinctive, but also practical, adaptable, and ready for licensing..
